ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
DESCRIPTION
Reel, is a platform that empowers financial independence by enabling users to automatize savings for their aspirations- essentially unlocking “save-to-buy.” Our mission is to make aspiration accessible to all by allowing users to create saving plans for items across the web. Using Reel’s proprietary saving mechanism, users inculcate positive financial hygiene through minimal planning and guilt-free purchasing that empowers them for life while avoiding unnecessary debt in the process. Users have saved for a slew of goals - i.e., pair of Yeezys, pre-release PS5’s, Gucci handbags, and vacations abroad - featured on the platform, across the web, or generic plans created by users. It's easy, users set their daily/ weekly saving amounts, and we process their saving transactions and finally ship the item once saved in total. We’re going a step further by providing storefronts and retailers with this capability for their users.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to Develop outbound sales strategies to generate quality leads and maintain a sales pipeline.
- Drive potential clients from initial conversation to deal close.
- Coordinate with the Partnerships team to create customized plans for increasing revenue with existing partners.
- Provide timely, accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing your pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts.
- Manage activity in CRM and maintain data quality.
- Act cross-functionally with marketing, product, and design to inform market positioning and to provide feedback on product requirements.
- Exhibit professional behavior and act as a role model of the Reel values before, during, and after interactions with clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You have at least 5-years of experience in a similar role in commerce or luxury retail.
- You have a track record of meeting sales goals and growing the business.
- You have experience working with sales tools and building sales pipelines.
- You can manage expectations and build trust with clients.
- You have a service-oriented approach to managing client accounts.
- You have accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- You are a team player, self-motivated, flexible, and open to change.
- You have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- You are very proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- You can perform in a fast-paced startup environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to build a close working relationship with our clients.
- Coordinate with Sales Manager and Partnerships team to create customized plans for increasing revenue with existing partners
- Conduct product sales training sessions with key partners.
- Establish a weekly outreach routine with existing and potential clients.
- Meet monthly goals while also thinking strategically about ways to grow client business.
- Ability to persuasively communicate ideas to colleagues and customers in face-to-face scenarios demonstrating real-time insight, flexibility, and sound judgment.
- Assist both the clients and the company’s engineering & operations teams during the integration and account setup processes.
- Prepare reports about clients' performance and present them to Senior Management.
- Working to understand client organizational needs.
- Exhibit professional behavior and act as a role model of the Reel values before, during, and after interactions with clients.

SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Reel makes it very simple for people to start a savings plan for whatever they want, enabling them to “Save Now, Buy Later” (a trip, a computer, a stroller, a pair of shoes). Our saving-centric shopping experience easily embeds on merchant sites, driving revenue to merchants while increasing affordability for shoppers. We are tackling the need in the market for payment alternatives that require no credit check, no debt, and no fees.
Our team has a deep understanding of consumer psychology. We believe the biggest winners of Fintech will be the companies that not only can deliver on functionality but also on experiences that payoff consumer behavior. What can we expect from this role?
- Generating new opportunities using outbound tactics (email sequences, LinkedIn, cold calling, etc.)
- Identifying, targeting, and nurturing potential outbound opportunities
- Qualifying inbound opportunities
- Schedule qualified meetings, and calls/demos and engage with C-Level IT executives to generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain a sense of urgency and rapid response cadence in following up with interested prospects.
- Exhibit professional behavior and act as a role model of the Reel values before, during, and after interactions with clients.
- Leverage data and analysis to drive daily and weekly strategy
All about you
- You have 1-2 years of experience in B2B tech sales as an SDR/BDR
- Experience with outbound sales
- You are an outside-the-box thinker who takes the initiative & thrives in a fast-paced environment
- You have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding expectations (assigned quotas, etc.)
- You have an ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- You have experience with CRM tools (ex. - Hubspot, SalesForce, ZoomInfo, or Outreach.io)
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a growth mindset - proactively creating ideas and solutions
- You have accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
- You are a team player, self-motivated, flexible, and open to change
- You have strong outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- You are very proficient in Excel
